Mindful Meditation with Sister Shirley Morrissey
Franciscan Spirituality Center, La Crosse, Wisconsin
Every Tuesday, 5:30-7:00 pm and every Saturday, 8:00-9:30 am

Join the group for 20 minutes of silence followed by five minutes of walking meditation and then 20 minutes of sitting. The sessions conclude with a short reading and time for sharing. Sister Shirley is happy to provide an introduction to meditation if it is new to you.

FSPA is collaborating with Viterbo University, La Crosse Interfaith Shoulder to Shoulder Network and Viterbo Ministries to bring Father Michael Calabria to Viterbo  Fine Arts Center. He will speak on Muslim concerns from the lens of Francis and the Sultan on the 800th anniversary of their meeting. Father Michael is a Muslim and art scholar who teaches at St. Bonaventure University in Allegany, New York. This evening is part of Viterbo's Theology on Root Beer Tap series and is open to all.

Watercolor II: Continued Learnings

This workshop will focus on continuing to learn watercolor painting and offer exercises in the basics techniques like brush handling, watercolor control of light and darks, freeing up painting, working with new materials in watercolor, etc.
