FSPA Prayer Partner

A way of prayer. A way of life.

In 1997, FSPA invited women and men in the La Crosse, Wisconsin, area to be Eucharistic Prayer Partners-allowing them to spend some quiet time away from their busy world, to deepen their relationship with God and to pray for the needs of others.

Becoming a prayer partner is based on your desire to build upon your previous prayer life. If you are interested, we ask you to attend an orientation that usually lasts about 90 minutes and is done in connection with a meal. This session is held at St. Rose Convent, 912 Market St., La Crosse, Wisconsin, and can be scheduled at noon or 5 p.m., depending on your availability. Following orientation is a commissioning service which takes place at a 9 a.m. liturgy on the second Sunday in November or the first Sunday after Easter at Mary of the Angels Chapel, also at St. Rose Convent. Your hour of adoration, usually done weekly, takes place at our Adoration Chapel. We are always happy to welcome new Eucharistic prayer partners.

To date, more than 200 women and men have become Eucharistic Prayer Partners. Some of our partners commit to one hour every week while others serve as their schedules allow. We invite you to become part of this growing number of FSPA Prayer Partners.
