Research Requests
FSPA Archives is open to all researchers. It is the responsibility of the researcher to examine the unrestricted materials in the collection. We recognize its not always feasible for researchers to visit us so we will provide research on behalf of a researcher, depending on request.

Policies
The records in the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration Archives are FSPA property. Our holdings include papers of closed institutions and parishes and early records concerning continuing FSPA institutions. Our records also include files, photographs, books, and periodicals related to deceased FSPA, for which FSPA Archives are the repository.
The FSPA Archives reserves the right to restrict access to archival records. Archival materials are subject to the FSPA Archives Access Policy and Policy Statement. The researcher agrees to use professional discretion in treating any information obtained from the FSPA Archives. Copies may not be duplicated, digitized, or deposited elsewhere without the proper written consent of the archivist. Supplying a copy is not an authorization to publish or circulate.
Researcher Responsibility
The researcher assumes full responsibility for conforming to the laws of libel and copyright, which may involve their use of any record preserved in the FSPA Archives. The researcher further agrees, by completing an application, to hold harmless and indemnify the FSPA Archives, its staff, and members, individually and collectively, as well as all of the damage and/or attorney’s fees which in any way arise out of or result from the release of such information to the requesting individual or entity. Written permission to publish any records in their entirety or a substantial portion thereof must be requested and approved before publication. The researcher is solely legally responsible for obtaining this written permission.
