'The Healing Power of Love in Action' with Sister Sarah
Catholic Climate Covenant invites us to experience "The Healing Power of Love in Action: Creation Care in a Time of Pandemic and Partisanship" in celebration of the Feast of St. Francis and the conclusion of Season of Creation 2020.
The organization is offering two virtual opportunities to honor St. Francis on Oct. 4 and beyond: a 90-minute program and a video. Created for personal or group use, the program is "framed around St. Francis' famous prayer, the Canticle of Creatures, to illuminate our current journey from the pandemic, from indifference to climate change, from political partisanship, to a place of healing through God, with each other and with Creation." Get links to the program at catholicclimatecovenant.org.
The video, "framed through St. Francis' famous prayer, the Canticle of Creatures," features Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration Sarah Hennessey reading her AdorationTalk "Canticle of the Creatures Explained." (Forward to 2:46 to listen to Sister Sarah.)
