New prayer partners welcomed to ministry of perpetual adoration

Anthony J. Baures has been married to his wife, Marcia, for 52 years and is blessed with three children and nine grandchildren. He lives on a farm outside of Blair, Wisconsin, where his barn often serves as wonderful prayer space. Anthony enjoys gardening, reading and many outside activities. He prays with us two Wednesdays a month at noon. 

Aly Martin-Lopez is from Sparta, Wisconsin. She enjoys her four beautiful grandchildren. Aly was a translator at Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare for many years and now enjoys retirement. She prays with us Saturdays at 1 p.m. and as a substitute.  

Jane Marie Mathison volunteers at St. Leo the Great Parish in West Salem, Wisconsin, as a catechist, sacristan and eucharistic minister. She also serves as a eucharistic minister at Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare. She feels blessed to have the wonderful support of her family. She prays with us Fridays at 7 a.m.

Mary McClintock is an active member of St. Leo the Great Parish in West Salem, Wisconsin. She is a eucharistic minister and actively participates in Bible studies. She also volunteers at the Franciscan Spirituality Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Mary prays with us as a substitute.

Dolores (Dolly) Sandleback is a retired counselor from Western Technical College and worships at San Damiano Chapel, La Crosse, Wisconsin. She and her husband John are grateful for their children and two grandchildren. Dolores’ favorite pastime is gardening, and she adores animals. She prays with us as a substitute.

Kent Stein worships at Blessed Sacrament Parish, La Crosse, Wisconsin, with his wife Rachel and their two daughters. He volunteers with the Knights of Columbus and works as a paramedic. Kent shared that he chose St. Francis as his confirmation name when he converted to Catholicism 18 years ago. “I deeply love and profoundly respect the blessing of adoration, and I am honored to participate.” His adoration hour is Wednesdays at 3 p.m.  

Kathleen Trussoni worships at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Genoa, Wisconsin, where she is a lector, eucharistic minister and an organist/pianist. She also enjoys volunteering at Gundersen Health System, La Crosse, Wisconsin. Kathleen was a teacher and principal for almost 40 years and retired in 2008. She has one daughter and six grandchildren. As she says, “Life is good!”  She prays with us at 1 p.m. on Wednesdays.
