At the Feb. 9 Mass at the Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle, seven boxes were presented, filled with documentation, artwork, and records of Servant of God Sister Thea Bowman’s proof of service. This Mass marked the formal completion of the diocesan phase in Sister Thea Bowman’s cause for canonization, a significant milestone in the process.
As the diocesan phase of Sister Thea Bowman's cause for canonization has concluded, a recent episode of the Talking Catholic podcast features FSPA Archivist Meg Paulino and Camden-based artist Brother Mickey O’Neill McGrath, OSFS, reflecting on their experience in Jackson, Mississippi, for the closing of the diocesan phase of Sister Thea’s canonization cause.
