A new documentary titled “Bad River” focusing on the fight of the Bad River Band of the Lake Superior Ojibwe against the Line 5 pipeline. The film captures a sacred ceremony performed by the tribe and explores the historical injustices faced by Indigenous peoples. Directed by Mary Mazzio, the documentary highlights Native voices while confronting uncomfortable truths about cultural genocide and systemic racism.
