Employment Opportunity--Guest Services Specialist

Location:  Franciscan Spirituality Center
Hours:  Part-time

We are seeking a part-time (20-25 hours/week) Guest Service Specialist who wants to be part of a team and is passionate about providing excellent guest services. We are looking for someone who shares our values of hospitality and respect and desires a culture that puts relationships first.

We are seeking someone with

  •  The flexibility to assist where needed, may include occasional weekend and evening hours
  • Excellent Customer Service and communication skills
  • The gift of hospitality
  • The ability to work efficiently and effectively with a diverse group of people and in cooperation with coworkers
  • Ability to promote the mission of the Franciscan Spirituality Center
  • Knowledge of safe food handling
  • Basic computer skills with the willingness to learn certain program software

In this role your responsibility will include, but not limited, to the following:

  •  Set up for groups and Center guests as requested
  • Work with others to manage outreach scheduling and calendars
  • Clean-up after meetings, stocking and maintaining inventory of needed items
  • Customer service, which would include receiving guests and visitors, answering telephone, responding to inquiries
  • Handling monetary transactions for programs, services, bookstore and gift shop sales
