Reflection 2: gaze, consider, contemplate, imitate ... discern [video]

By Sister Amy Taylor, FSPA on Friday, February 21st 2020

"What would life look like if I chose to live with others who also want to make a difference?"

In Reflection 2 of Show me a sign's 14-Day Discernment Meditation Series, we invite you to the question "What would life look like if I chose to live with others who also want to make a difference?"

This reflection is inspired by the advice given to Agnes of Prague by St. Clare of Assisi. As a princess transitioning into consecrated life, Agnes wrote to Clare asking for guidance on how to grow in her relationship with Christ. St. Clare offered the words gaze ... consider ... contemplate ... imitate. And the series is an opportunity for you to gaze, consider, contemplate and imitate throughout your day, your week, or perhaps a transitional time all your own.

Maybe such reflection includes discernment of religious life.

Watch the next meditation in the series now:
Reflection 3: "What needs around me can I fulfill?".
