Sister Laurie professes final vows

“Jesus said to her, “If you wish to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
This is what Sister Laurie Sullivan has done. She has given all away and today will vow to follow the Gospel for the rest of her life as a Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration. She can only do this because she knows that she is loved, by God, by her community, her family, her friends, and the many needy people to whom she has given herself over the years. - Sister Karen Lueck's reflection offered at the celebration of Sister Laurie's final vow ceremony, Sept. 12, 2020.
