Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration Corrina Thomas is featured in the Global Sisters Report article, "Congregations and cultures mix as novices learn and grow together," taking readers inside the InterCongregational Collaborative Novitiate program in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois.

Sister Corrina co-founded the program with Sister of Charity of Nazareth Nancy Gerth, who says "The novices are from six congregations, six age groups, six different cultural backgrounds or countries about as 'inter' as you can get." While the women do the work of personal and vocational discernment, "they are also gaining an appreciation of each other's cultural traditions." Says Sister Corrina, "Interculturalty and diversity is the way things are."
