Anniversary: AdorationTalk released, bells chimed

08/04/2017 7:42 am

On Aug. 1, 2017, the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration celebrated 139 years of continuous prayer. Since 1878, at least two adorers have prayed 24/7 in the sisters' Adoration Chapel. And in traditional celebration, the sisters rang a bell inside St. Rose Convent 139 times marking each year complete and another to usher in the new year.

More celebration you'll enjoy:

Sister Sarah released her latest AdorationTalk, "Prayer: The Basics"
Sister Amy reflected on each bell chime on her blog, "Show me a sign"
