Meet our New WisCorps Members!
My name is Angie Plank and I am the new Wiscorps Sustainability Assistant for FSPA. I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Water Resource Economics and I am currently getting my masters in hydrology from the University of Oklahoma. For fun, I enjoy spending my time hiking, kayaking and reading. I am excited to be a part of FSPA and to get the chance to meet everyone, as well as getting more hands-on experience in sustainability on the local level!
My name is Maggie Schreiber and I am the new Wiscorps Ecological Assistant for FSPA. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse last spring with a bachelor’s degree in environmental biology as well as minors in chemistry and psychology. This is my second term serving for Wiscorps and I am eager to apply the knowledge that I received this summer to the FSPA land. Over the summer, I had the opportunity to improve trails throughout Hixon Forest, control invasive species spread and restore public land for the betterment of the La Crosse community. Spending time outdoors is very important to me and I want to help create an environment that people, animals and plants can thrive in together. The passion of the principles of Laudato Si’ has inspired me to do my part in protecting the land that was gifted to us by God. I am honored and excited to get to know members of the FSPA community and work hands on with the FSPA land this year!
