Lunch & Learn tackled farming amidst climate change

02/18/2021 3:57 pm

Experience "Resilient Farming Systems in the Face of Climate Change," the latest FSPA Lunch & Learn event, presented by Ron Rosmann on Feb. 9, 2021.

Ron owns and operates Rosmann Family Farms with his family in Harlan, Iowa, and is a founding board member of the grassroots organization Practical Farmers of Iowa. He spoke about how climate change impacts agriculture and his approach to that challenge, spirituality and religion in farming and the big agricultural picture: what we eat, where we buy our food and what the future holds.

Sponsored by the FSPA Ecospirituality Committee, this series is designed to explore FSPA's commitment to ecological education, one of the seven Laudato Si' goals, and to our provocative movement proclaimed to stretch us to be people of encounter who stand with all suffering in our Earth Community. Offered the second Tuesday of each month in 2021, each Lunch & Learn will feature different topics presented by new speakers.
