Once known for her "do things differently attitude," Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration Lydia Wendl professed final vows in 1948, achieved a bachelor's degree in education, ministered as a teacher for 42 years, served the ministry of pastoral care, coordinated chapel tours at St. Rose Convent in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and passed away there on Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, at 101 years old.
