In Loving Memory of Sister Lorraine Forster

Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration Lorraine Forster, 99 years of age and in her 79th year of religious life, passed away on July 25, 2023, at Villa St. Joseph in La Crosse, Wisconsin. She served the ministry of education as a teacher (of primarily chemistry and Latin), administrator and counselor in schools from Wisconsin and Iowa to North Dakota, Montana, Utah, Washington and Nevada where, at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, she served for 31 years. In retirement there, Sister Lorraine ministered as a volunteer and was known to gather FSPA affiliates in the area for “prayer and conversation.” Described as a “fun-loving person,” she will be remembered for her “keen sense of humor” and her kind and giving nature.
