FSPA participates in Land Justice Futures course
Several sisters, affiliates and partners in mission are participating in the Land Justice Futures course hosted by Nuns and Nones. Land Justice Futures is a five-part course that supports religious communities to create new land legacies rooted in racial and ecological healing. Visit globalsistersreport.org to learn more.
“These Land Justice courses have given us opportunities to learn and process perspectives that have not been apparent to us for too long. We are being immersed in the stories of people with whom we've shared land for centuries, yet sadly, their narratives are new to many of us. There is a powerful call to us in hearing the stories that we didn't write, the call to humility, justice and healing. There is an equally powerful call to religious to reconcile within our congregations and the Church the impact of our unintended yet undeniable actions.” - Sister Eileen McKenzie
