Eco in Action Lunch & Learn: Collective Action and U.N. Climate Summit
Join FSPA for the tenth Lunch & Learn in the Eco in Action series: “What Catholics should know about the COP26 U.N. climate conference,” presented by Barbara Fraser, Editor for EarthBeat, on October 12. Join us as we learn some of the key issues that Catholic activists will be tracking in Glasgow, especially those related to climate justice, and consider the possible impacts of Pope Francis' planned trip to the leaders' summit at the beginning of the conference.
Registration: This offering is free and open to the public. Please register here to participate.
Sponsored by our ecospirituality committee, this series is an opportunity to explore FSPA's commitment to ecological education, one of the seven Laudato Si' goals and A Revolution of Goodness proclamation made to stretch us to be people of encounter who stand with all suffering in our Earth Community. Each Lunch & Learn, presented the second Tuesday of each month throughout 2021, will feature new topics of ecological advocacy, presented by speakers who will inspire us to care for all of creation.
