Rev. Lynn Ungar
What if you thought of it
as the Jews consider the Sabbath—
the most sacred of times?
Cease from travel.
Cease from buying and selling.
Give up, just for now,
on trying to make the world
different than it is.
Sing. Pray. Touch only those
to whom you commit your life.

Today, our Change Direction partner notes that “at times like this, anxiety, stress, fear and negative thoughts can easily take control. You may be worried about being in crowds, your loved ones … or how to manage a quarantine. The Change Direction campaign serves to underscore the importance of your mental health during this time and has released a Healthy Habits guide. The guide features suggestions to take care of you, check in with others, engage and connect wisely, relax and know the Five Signs.
