National Catholic Conference on Restorative Justice

10/05/23 - 10/07/23

Co-hosted by Catholic Mobilizing Network and the Initiative on Restorative Justice and Healing on the campus of University of St. Thomas School of Law, this year’s National Catholic Conference on Restorative Justice takes on the theme of “Journeying Toward Restoration.” Ever aware of past and ongoing violations of dignity and relationships, “Journeying Toward Restoration” signifies renewed promise for restorative justice as an instrument for human flourishing both within and beyond the institutional Church.

Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration Georgia Christensen and FSPA affiliate and archivist Meg Paulino will present "Opening our Hearts to Truth and Healing." In this workshop, participants will hear from from Sister Georgia and Meg, both members of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration's Truth and Healing Team as they share the story of FSPA-run St. Mary's Indian Boarding School.

This conference includes both in person option and virtual options.
