Thirty-sixth prayer partner commissioning service held

Seven women recently joined the FSPA ministry of eucharistic adoration, three of whom were commissioned in Mary of the Angels Chapel on Nov. 8.

Kathy BanasikKathy Banasik is a member of Holy Trinity Parish where she lectors and serves at funeral lunches. She and her husband Richard have three adult children. Kathy works part time for a law firm. She will be praying with us at 5 a.m. on Tuesdays.


Kathleen MankowskiKathleen Mankowski worked as a registered nurse for 45 years. She has two grown daughters and is now raising her granddaughter. Kathy has moved back to Milwaukee to be near family but will be praying with us on the last Wednesday of each month from 11 a.m. to noon.


Mary Lu GerkeMary Lu Gerke, asister of Sister Malinda Gerke, lives in La Crosse and worships at Blessed Sacrament Parish. She is currently the interim dean of the School of Nursing, Health and Human Behavior at Viterbo University while continuing to work at Gundersen Health System. Mary Lu will be praying with us on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Wednesdays from 7 to 8 a.m.  


Kim McMahonKim McMahon is a nurse at Mayo Franciscan. She and her husband have three adult children and are members of Holy Trinity Parish. Kim will be praying with us on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m.

 

Helen PhelpsHelen Phelps is a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish where she is a eucharistic minister. She is now retired from nursing at Gundersen Health System. Helen will be praying with us on Saturdays at 2 p.m. 


Ashley SkoczynskiAshley Skoczynski, the new minister of FSPA Affiliation, is a graduate of Viterbo’s servant leadership program. Ashley worships at San Damiano chapel and will be praying with us on Fridays at 3 p.m.


Dianna Vincent Langlie (photo not available) has lived in La Crosse for eight years. She is a member of Cathedral Parish and was a friend of Sister Barbara Link. Dianna will be praying with us at 6 p.m. on Saturdays.
