Thirteen new eucharistic prayer partners welcomed

prayer partner groupThirteen individuals were welcomed as new eucharistic prayer partners during Mass in Mary of the Angels Chapel on April 14, 2013.

John Cochran, a Franciscan Healthcare physician, works in Caledonia, Minn. He volunteers at the St. Clare Health Mission and in other health care initiatives. He and his wife, Margaret Grenisen, have three children.

Margaret Grenisen is a physician at Franciscan Healthcare’s Center for Women’s Health. She volunteers at St. Clare Health Mission and with the Youth Symphony. Margaret and John pray with us each Thursday at 9 p.m.

Susan Cieslecki works at both Franciscan Healthcare and Viterbo University. Susan and her husband Andre, who is currently serving in Afghanistan, have three teenage daughters. Susan will be praying with us on Tuesdays from 5 to 6 pm.

Brittany Farley works in the neonatal and pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Gundersen Health System. She is a member of the Roncalli Newman Parish and volunteers at Coulee Region Humane Society. Brittany will be praying with us regularly as determined by her shift schedule.

Kelly Gansel, a retired teacher, is a widow and mother of two children. Kelly volunteers at Mayo-Franciscan and at St. Rose Convent where she is a eucharistic minister. Kelly and her sister, Sister Mary Eve Hytry, have the 5 to 6 p.m. hour on Sundays.

Linda and Paul Hegge have two grown children. Linda worked at Gundersen Health System for several years and now is a certified instructor in energy therapy. Paul, a Vietnam veteran, is retired from Trane Company. They pray with us at 9 p.m. each Wednesday.

Betty Koenen is a retired teacher who taught at St. Pius X for 38 years. She is a widow and has four married children and 14 grandchildren. Betty volunteers at RSVP and as a eucharistic minister at Mary, Mother of the Church. She prays with us on Wednesdays at 11 a.m.

Nancy Noelke works at Gundersen Health System. She and her husband have a 15-year-old son. Nancy volunteers with the Women’s Fund and the Franciscan Spirituality Center. She will pray with us on the
first and third Thursdays from 4 to 5 p.m.

Audrey Quanrud is the acting director of the Franciscan Spirituality Center. She and her husband John have three grown children. Audrey prays with us from 1 to 2 p.m. on Fridays.

Mary Kay Skemp is a retired teacher. She and her husband Peter have two adult children and four grandchildren. Mary Kay volunteers at the St. Clare Health Mission and Eagle Bluff Elementary School. She prays with us on Mondays at 11 a.m.

Diane Strupp is retired and volunteers at RSVP and Holy Trinity Church. She is a widow and has a daughter, a son and two grandchildren. Diane will pray with us on the first, third and fifth Tuesdays of the month between 4 and 5 p.m.

Ruben Mendoza Medrano lives in West Salem and works at Rockland Flooring in Rockland, Wis. Ruben will pray with us at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Occasionally his parents or other family members will join him for his hour of prayer.
