Five women join FSPA eucharistic adoration ministry

A commissioning service was held April 12 in Mary of the Angels Chapel for the new eucharistic prayer partners.

Janice Berry is a Viterbo University nursing graduate and works at Gundersen Health System. She and her husband Nick have three grown children. They are members of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Bettendorf, Iowa, where Janice is a eucharistic minister. She will pray with us at 6 a.m. on Wednesdays.

Patricia Hagen is a member of St. Patrick’s Parish in Sparta where she helps with sacristy work, cantors and takes Eucharist to the homebound. She is employed at Villa St. Joseph and will be praying with us on Thursdays at 7 p.m.

Michelle Hundt, her husband Greg and their four children are members of St. Joseph Ridge Parish. Michelle enjoys bible study, singing in the choir and volunteering at her children’s school. She will pray with us on Tuesday mornings at 8:30.

Nancy Melin is a massage therapist working at Integrative Therapies and a teacher at the La Crescent Montessori School. She worships at Christ Episcopal Church, and will pray with us on Friday evenings from 5 to 6 p.m.

Paula Silha is a member of the St. Joseph Ridge Parish where she serves as lector. She and her husband Ken have two adult sons. Paula works for the La Crosse County Health Department. She will be praying with us at 5 p.m. on Mondays.
