Offering a spirituality of solidarity

 

Global Awareness Through Experience (GATE) has been offering educational trips to Central America and Eastern Europe for more than 25 years and currently offers three categories of alternative tourism:

• Our Immersion Program acquaints the participant with the cultural, political, economic and religious climates of El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Eastern Europe, Oaxaca, France and Venezuela.
• Our Franciscan Pilgrimage in Mexico allows the traveler to see historical sites and the present reality through the eyes of Francis of Assisi.
• GATE provides several programs each year for seminaries, universities, parish and youth groups, and other interest groups.
