Reflection 5: gaze, consider, contemplate, imitate ... discern [video]

By Sister Amy Taylor, FSPA on Monday, February 24th 2020

"If I could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?"

Gaze ... consider ... contemplate ... imitate. Open yourself to the question "If I could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?"

Welcome to Reflection 5 of Show me a sign's 14-day Discernment Meditation Series, designed to call you to deeper exploration of the journey you are walking in life. It is inspired by St. Clare of Assisi's advice to Agnes of Prague, a princess transitioning into consecrated life who was searching for guidance in growing her relationship with Christ. Gazing, considering, contemplating and imitating were Clare's offerings.

Please watch this video. Gaze, consider, contemplate and imitate throughout your day, your week, or perhaps a transitional time all your own.

Maybe such reflection includes discernment of religious life.
