Reflection 4: gaze, consider, contemplate, imitate ... discern [video]

By Sister Amy Taylor, FSPA on Sunday, February 23rd 2020

"How are my values reflected in the choices I make?"

Show me a sign calls you to the question, in Reflection 4 of our 14-day Discernment Meditation Series, "How are my values reflected in the choices I make?"

This offering is inspired by St. Clare of Assisi's advice to Agnes of Prague. As a princess transitioning into consecrated life, Agnes wrote to Clare for guidance on how to grow in her relationship with Christ. St. Clare offered the words gaze, consider, contemplate and imitate.

And this series is an opportunity for you to gaze, consider, contemplate and imitate throughout your day, your week, or perhaps a transitional time all your own.

Maybe such reflection includes discernment of religious life.
