Reflection 13: gaze, consider, contemplate, imitate ... discern [video]

By Sister Amy Taylor, FSPA on Tuesday, March 3rd 2020

"Who or what in my life has wisdom to share?"

Wisdom, you might find if you take a moment to think about it, is all around us. Show me a sign invites you to slow down and consider the sources in your life with Reflection 13 of our 14-day Discernment Meditation Series: "Who or what in my life has wisdom to share?"

This series of reflection is inspired by the advice given by St. Clare of Assisi to Agnes of Prague who was seeking wisdom herself. As a princess transitioning into consecrated life, Agnes wrote to Clare asking for guidance on how to grow in relationship with Christ. St. Clare offered the words gaze ... consider ... contemplate ... imitate. Here, we share them to you too.

The last video in Show me a sign's discernment meditation series -- Reflection 14: "What bold journey am I ready to begin?" -- is ready to watch and share. And watch and share again. Just click here.

Are you searching for more inspiration and guidance in the discernment of religious life? Walking with someone who is? We invite you to share this link, fspa.org/showmeasign, and join the conversation.
