Sister Sharon Bongiorno, front row, left, participated in the Diocese of Spokane's Vocare, a vocational experience for girls entering 9-12 grades. "Our Vocare retreat, held in June, was hosted at Immaculate Heart Retreat Center in Spokane, Washington. Forty five girls attended, 20 for the first time and 25 returnees for a second, third or fourth time," notes Sister Sharon.

According to Bishop Thomas Daly, "Eucharistic Adoration, increasingly popular for people of all ages, especially among the young...becomes a place of rest and strength, a mini-retreat you might say, to listen where the Lord is calling us to serve, to discover one’s vocation." Time at Vocare is both educational and prayerful.
