Prayer service for Dreamers held
As lawmakers consider the future of The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA), we hold in prayer and support all of our sisters and brothers.
About 100 people gathered in prayer for the "dreamers" at a service hosted by the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration and Centro Latino on Sept. 14. The gathering included the song "All are Welcome" led by Sister Rochelle Potaracke.

As Sister Antona offered in reflection, "Let's hope and pray Congress and our representatives will have compassion and see that this repeal of the Dream Act will not come to fruition."

“All Are Welcome”
Let us build a house where love can dwell
and all can safely live,
a place where saints and children tell
how hearts learn to forgive.
Built of hopes and dreams and visions,
rock of faith and vault of grace;
here the love of Christ shall end divisions.
All are welcome, all are welcome,
all are welcome in this place.
