FSPA joins YouTube and shares online videos worldwide

YouWhat? YouTube. According to www.youtube.com, “YouTube is the leader in online video, and the premier destination to watch and share original videos worldwide through a Web experience.” Everyone with an Internet connection can watch videos on YouTube, and with more than 47 million visitors per month almost everyone is watching. YouTube has become a powerful way for organizations to tell their stories. Now people looking for information about FSPA during their Web experience will find it at the FSPA YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/FranciscanSisters.

The channel launched in September and has been viewed more than 200 times. Currently the FSPA YouTube channel is sharing five video clips from the DVD that was released earlier this year, Modern Lives. Sacred Traditions. There is also a section on the channel that allows FSPA to highlight other YouTube videos that are considered “favorites” of FSPA. To date, favorites include clips produced about the School of the Americas.

One of the great features of a YouTube channel is its interactivity. Everyone is encouraged to visit www.youtube.com/FranciscanSisters and become a “friend” or “subscriber” of the channel. Viewers are also invited to comment about the channel.
