Meet the Affiliation Team

Marci Madary and Sister Suzanne Rubenbauer are the Affiliation Co-Ministers for the FSPA. Marci has been in this position since 1997. Sister Suzanne began in August 2006. Together they respond to the inquiries of Christian women and men interested in sharing Franciscan values through affiliation. They facilitate and nurture the spiritual connection between affiliates and sisters by planning gatherings, creating newsletters, and fostering relationships.

Marci Madary

Marci's background is in education. She has worked as a pastoral minister in a parish and coordinated a program that provided tutoring for illiterate adults. As part of the La Crosse Catholic Worker community, Marci enjoys providing and receiving Christian hospitality. Second only to the Gospel, Marci loves her family. She and her husband have two children.

S. Suzanne Rubenbauer

Sister Suzanne's education and experience is in parish ministry and spiritual development. Along with certification in spiritual direction and a master's in spirituality, Suzanne is also a massage therapist who prefers water over land. She finds that her combination of skills and expereinces offers a healthy mix of mind/body/spirit integregation.
