Eight eucharistic prayer partners are commissioned

Five new prayer partners were commissioned during the April 23 liturgy in Mary of the Angels Chapel.

Karen and Darin Jobe were among them. Karen is a patient liaison in the dentistry department at Gundersen Lutheran Clinic. She has an 18-year-old daughter, Ashley. Darin works as an export/import consultant in his family business. He has two brothers, one of whom is his twin. Darin has a stepdaughter and two Maltese dogs.

Dawn Pierce is an organist and director of the funeral choir and chairperson of the Sacred Worship Committee at St. James the Less Parish. She has five children and six grandchildren.

Patricia Roberts is a member of the United Congregational Church where she is active in the choir and the church school. She has three daughters.

Ida Ann Vessel is a member of the Holy Cross Parish. She is a nurse at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare. Ida has four children living in the Twin Cities area.
