Prayer partners commissioned

Nine new prayers partners will join the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration
in the ministry of prayer. Eight women were welcomed at the 20th commissioning
ceremony held on Nov. 4, 2007, in Mary of the Angels Chapel.
Rose Barlow is a member of St. Marys Parish in Viroqua. She is a kindergarten
aide and serves on the Social Concerns Committee.
Elizabeth Brendel, a member of Mary Mother of the Church, works at Viterbo University.
Mary Garves is an active volunteer at Roncalli Newman Parish and works with
the Hmong community.
Marie Kabat, a member of Cathedral Parish, volunteers in the ESL program at
Western Technical College.
Barbara Kauphusman is a member of Holy Trinity Parish.
Carla Kiesau, a Franciscan Secular Third Order, is a member of St. Patricks
Parish in Onalaska.
Mary Ann Snapp is an active volunteer at Mary Mother of the Church Parish.
Mary Elizabeth Strasser, a graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing, is a member
of St. Patricks Parish in Onalaska.
