Catch up with Sister Sarah Hennessey

Sister Sarah just began her apostolic year in the novitiate. These photos were taken on a trip to the Arizona/Mexico border region in late August. Sister Sarah traveled with members of a group called Fronteras de Cristo. The Douglas, Ariz., group delivers humanitarian aid to immigrants. In the first photo, at right, they provided food and water for a group of immigrants who were sleeping in the desert.
In the left photo below, Sister Sarah joined FSPA member Sister Joyce Blum at her weekly protest vigil, calling attention to the many people who have died trying to cross the desert.
In the right photo below, Sister Sarah, left, and Sister Joyce Blum, right, stopped to visit children in an orphanage located in Naco, Mexico.
