FSPA welcomes new prayer partners, honors anniversaries

We are delighted to introduce two new prayer partners and our partners celebrating their 10th anniversaries.

They were honored during a commissioning ceremony on April 8 in Mary of the Angels Chapel, La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Prayer partner Jeanne KrauseWelcome Jeanne Krause. Jeanne spent her early years at St. Michael’s Home with Sisters Audrey Gray and Mary Pudenz. She now lives in La Crosse and joins the community in worship at St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral and Viterbo University’s San Damiano. The Franciscan Spirituality Center, through its programs and spiritual directors, has been a helpful support to her. As a volunteer, Jeanne visits nursing home residents and shut-ins. She prays with us on Tuesdays from 4 to 5 pm.

Prayer partner, Sarah TrandahlWe also welcome Sarah Trandahl. She is an English major at Viterbo in her first year of studies. Her parish is St. Bridget of Sweden in her hometown, Lindstrom, Minnesota. Sarah has five siblings, all blessed to discover adoration at a young age “thanks to our mother,” she shares. She will begin praying with us as a substitute adorer.
