When you contact the office by phone or e-mail, you will often reach either Sister Romana Klaubauf or Emily Dawson.

Sister Romana, co-minister, has years of health care ministry experience. She served on the nursing faculty at the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, Minn., and at the Shishong School of Nursing in Cameroon, West Africa. Sister Romana maintains initial and on-going contact with women discerning FSPA membership.

Emily Dawson, co-minister, is in the process of affiliation with the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration. She is a graduate and former employee of Viterbo University, an FSPA-sponsored institution. She also served as an administrative assistant for the Diocese of La Crosse. Emily’s role in the membership office is to help women discerning God’s call meet other FSPA and share in FSPA events.

Sister Katie Mitchell lives in Chicago, Ill., where she teaches elementary school. Using her media and education background, she edits the membership newsletter, Sharing, as one of many efforts to share information about FSPA with women who have expressed interest in the congregation.
