When you contact the office by phone or e-mail, you will often reach either Sister Romana Klaubauf or Emily Dawson.

Sister Romana, co-minister, has years of health care ministry experience. She served on the nursing faculty at the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, Minn., and at the Shishong School of Nursing in Cameroon, West Africa. Sister Romana maintains initial and on-going contact with women discerning FSPA membership.

Emily Dawson, co-minister, is in the process of affiliation with the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration. She is a graduate and former employee of Viterbo University, an FSPA-sponsored institution. She also served as an administrative assistant for the Diocese of La Crosse. Emily’s role in the membership office is to help women discerning God’s call meet other FSPA and share in FSPA events. Follow Emily’s blog.

Sister Katie Mitchell ministers in adult faith formation at St. Mary Parish in Evanston, Ill. A favorite part of her ministry, and one that gives her great joy, is working with young adults at St. Mary and in the Archdiocese of Chicago. Katie has master's degrees in education and theology and a background in media. She served as a teacher and a catechist for many years. Now she is completing a doctorate at Catholic Theological Union with a focus on educating for witness.
