The Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration offer to persons living a Christian life the opportunity to share our Franciscan values and goals through affiliation. Together we seek opportunities to deepen our prayer, support one another, and respond to the needs of society.

There are two ways to affiliate with the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration.

Prayer Affiliation

Mutual prayer connects the affiliate and the congregation. The affiliate seeks to grow in contemplative prayer and makes a commitment to pray with and for the congregation. During the 14-18 month orientation, candidates reflect upon their prayer. They are encouraged to see every moment as an opportunity for prayer and a chance to deepen their relationship with God. Upon completion of orientation, an interview is conducted by an Affiliation Co-Minister. The congregation leadership team approves the candidate's acceptance.

Covenant Affiliation

Covenant affiliates seek to integrate prayer, community and ministry within a Franciscan lifestyle. The orientation process includes meeting monthly with a sister or an affiliate for 14 to 18 months. The candidate also attends a five-day live-in experience in La Crosse, Wis. Following an interview by an Affiliation Co-Minister and approval from the congregational leadership, the candidate makes a commitment to live the Gospel in the spirit of Francis and Clare of Assisi.
