In an atmosphere of prayer, solitude and hospitality, FSPA's retreat centers offer us as well as laity, clergy and other women and men religious an opportunity for spiritual renewal. The centers provide ideal opportunities to reflect one's spritual journey and participate in varied programs--including spiritual direction. Gospel values, Franciscan heritage and vision are shared in an atmosphere of peace and joy.

This focus takes many forms, including diocesan leadership, spiritual direction, and parish ministry, as well as pastoral care in hospitals, hospices, funeral homes, nursing homes, and prisons. All these ministries lend support and direction to people who are seeking God and greater meaning in their lives.FSPA sponsors four spirituality centers, including:

Each site offers women and men of all faiths a safe place and a quiet space for prayer, programs, guidance, and other support for their spiritual journeys. Additionally, several centers stress ecology in their offerings and living experiences. Sisters are actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the spirituality centers: directing operations, facilitating programs, and offering spiritual guidance.

WomanWell in St. Paul, Minn., is a place where women and men, mid-life and beyond, come as seekers, choosing to move into the uncharted deep labyrinth of life. They share a desire to gain deeper insight into their connection to all of life and part of the great cosmic story, they have come to experience greater freedom and meaning in life.
